Pension funds in talks to finance BlackBerry: report

Canadian pension funds the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and the Alberta Investment Management Corp. held “preliminary discussions” with FairFax Financial Holdings Ltd. about financing its proposal for a takeover of BlackBerry Ltd., Bloomberg News reported Thursday.
