

Onus is on telecoms to fix misleading sales practices: CRTC chairman

Canada’s telecommunications industry suffers from an “unacceptable degree” of misleading and aggressive retail sales practices that are “harming consumers” and vulnerable Canadians, the CRTC concluded in a report released Wednesday, following hearings on sales practices last fall.
