

Gov’t tables PIPEDA reform, new consumer privacy legislation

The federal government introduced sweeping private-sector privacy law reform Tuesday, giving the privacy commissioner long-asked for order-making powers and creating new legislation and a new administrative tribunal to govern online privacy.
