
PIAC calls for $50 internet subsidy for lower-income Canadians during pandemic

Canada should follow the lead of the United States and put in place a $50 “broadband benefit” throughout the rest of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC) says.
