

Heritage Committee strikes social media exemption from C-10; moves away from 7 year licence terms

The House of Commons Heritage committee has moved to strike an exemption for content posted on social media sites from regulation in the government’s much-watched update to the Broadcasting Act, known as Bill C-10.
