Once again BCE Inc. has filed suit against a copper thief who vandalized the company’s property. This time the action has been launched in Fredericton NB against Stuart McCann. Police have accused McCann of stealing copper wire from Bell Aliant, causing 1,000 customers in the New Brunswick capital to lose home phone, internet and TV service for 12 hours.
